This module is for converting USB to Serial (TTL) signal. FT232RL chip is integrated on the board to proide much functionality - generated clock circuit and EEPROM. Signal link is designed in DIP-28 pins (600 mil) for ease of use. This converter provides two way serial communications signal conversion betweenthe TTL (Transistor Transistor Logic) output to and from a personal computer USB port using virtual serial COM port. It can be used on any Micro controller - PIC, Atmel or other which has TTL serial communications.
